33rd Annual Chinggis Khan Day Celebration

The annual Chinggis Khan (Genghis Khan) Day celebrations organized and hosted by the Mongol-American Cultural Association (MACA) in New Jersey are always special for the Mongolians and Mongol-Americans who attend. They are a wonderful chance for us along the East Coast to reunite with old friends, and to share our common cultural heritage and arts.

This year of course the event had to be held virtually because of the pandemic, but one benefit is that we now have a complete video of the entire event and happenings. It is hard to believe that it has already been a year since our Mongolian shaman teacher Byambadorj was visiting and was able to attend the ceremony and speak there.

To watch this year’s event you can see the nearly two-hour ceremony on MACA’s YouTube channel here.
